How ‘super’ are superfoods?
Superfoods may do wonderful things for our bodies, but how good are they for the environment? Delve into the bad side of superfoods and find out more.
Waste management is an important aspect of all businesses. Not only does commercial waste management have an impact on the environment, but it is also the responsibility of all businesses in the UK to abide by the government’s duty of care – ensuring that businesses dispose of waste in a responsible and proper manner.
This duty is imposed by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (section 33). It is therefore important that all businesses have waste collected by a contracted and approved waste carrier. A breach of this duty of care can cost a business up to £20,000 in a single fine.
