Electrical Waste

Electrical waste, otherwise known as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), is one of the largest growing types of waste, both in the UK and across the world.

Due to the fact that electronic equipment can pose a significant danger to the environment, WEEE regulations were introduced by the European Council.

Businesses must now safely dispose of their electrical and electronic goods outside of their general waste.

Retailers and distributers of electronic goods must also provide customers with ways to dispose of old and used equipment.

Due to the many chemicals and materials found within electrical equipment, it is important that WEEE is disposed of by qualified professionals.

Here at Commercial Waste, we can help companies, both large and small, take care of WEEE related issues.

By providing solid guidance, up-to-date news and information, as well as tips to cut costs, Business Waste is here to make sure all business commit to their WEEE duty of care.
