Green energy is an important part of the future. Whether to help combat climate change, maintain a consistent source of energy, or hold a key position in the British economy, renewable energy is here to stay.

Since the mid-1990s, renewable energy has been an important source of electricity for the UK, generating 14.9 per cent of all the electricity generated in 2013. In the second quarter of 2015, for the first time ever, renewable electricity penetration exceeded 25 per cent.

Here at Commercial Waste, we regularly report and cover renewable energy stories, both in the UK and across the world.

Whether concerning wind energy, solar energy, biomass, sewage energy, tidal energy or indeed waste energy, Commercial Waste is here to report, advise and inform businesses and individuals on all matters green energy.
