Recycling ♻

Over the past 20 years or so, recycling has become a large part of everyday life, both privately and commercially. In 2013 it was announced that 43.5 per cent of the UK’s municipal waste was recycled, composted, or broken down by anaerobic digestion.

The EU waste Framework Directive states that a 50 per cent minimum household recycling target must be met by 2020, alongside a 70 per cent target for construction and demolition waste.

Here at Commercial Waste, we regularly report and cover recycling and waste stories from across the UK and Europe.

Ranging from new technologies and innovations, through to new requirements and regulations – Commercial Waste is here to keep businesses across the UK informed on the latest commercial recycling news. We also cover specific topics such as battery recycling, glass recycling and plastic recycling.
